Gain High Quality SIA standard training
To ensure our staff are fully trained, equipped to deal with any situation and exceed industry standards Custodian Guards has developed its own bespoke training syllabus.
Delivered by qualified trainers and our training partners, the programme has been designed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
Since March 2006 legislation requires individuals working in the sector to be licensed by the SIA, which has specified the criteria for obtaining this license. The NOCN Level Two award in Security Guarding (Static & Patrol) has been developed to meet the training needs of the SIA.
The qualification is composed of the following mandatory units:
- The Role and Responsibilities of Security Officers
- Conflict Management
- Communication Management
The rigorous course takes approximately 30 hours to complete and is assessed by two, one-hour externally set, written exam papers.
Only after completing the course successfully can the applicant begin induction training, which takes a further three days, followed by site specific training required across all assignments.
